A Music and Alcohol Mixer

The beaches in Pinellas County are known for more than just their beautiful water and sand. One of the greatest attractions on the beaches are the beachside bars. Here’s a list of a few places known for having good live music. While this list isn’t comprehensive, these are a few of the many standouts on the beaches. 

1. : Ka’ Tiki has a prime location on Sunset Beach within walking distance to the water. They also have live music every night to accompany the alcohol and beautiful beach sunsets. Check out their full calendar on their website. 
2. : Jimmy B’s is a beach music hot spot. They host a great variety of bands with two bands performing live every day, one in the afternoon and one in the evening. It’s worth checking their Web site to see who’s playing each day. 
3. : The Undertow is a bar that’s hidden away on Gulf Boulevard. Having a large bar and jazz every Tuesday night, The Undertow makes for a unique location to relax with a beer and listen to some tunes. Check out their Web site for information. 
4. : Ricky T’s may not be right on the water, but it makes up for it with music twice a day and special events. It makes for an easy dinner and date on Friday nights with their all-you-can-eat fish fry on Friday from 5 to 9 p.m. and music following directly afterward. 5. Gator’s on the Pass: Gator’s on the Pass is one of the bigger bars on the beach and has special events to capitalize on their space. It's not always strictly music, but they do have enough things going on to make it worth a check out. Check out their Web site for a full calendar of events.
