Alden Beach Resort Got a Makeover

The beach resorts are preparing for a heavy tourist season and the Alden Beach Resort is looking to be a top contender.

The Alden Beach Resort recently performed a $400,000 makeover on their Gulf Front Suites, according to an article from Marketwatch.com.

The makeover, which involved adding new furniture, solid wood cabinets, beds, flat screen televisions, carpets, window treatments, and coverlets, helps to secure the resort's AAA Three Diamond rating.

The resort is planning to continue to renovate through the year, with a budget of an additional $300,000 going to other areas of the hotel.

The renovation is part of a redesign effort from the Alden that began in January.
