Seniors, disabled need free, unbiased Medicare counseling

Volunteers are needed to help seniors, caregivers, and the disabled understand their Medicare options. These trained volunteers provide free, unbiased information and counseling on a multitude of services offered by the Florida Department of Elder Affairs, operated locally through the Area Agency on Aging of Pasco - Pinellas, Inc.

Do you want a volunteer position that is truly fulfilling and mentally stimulating? Then consider counseling seniors and the disabled with the SHINE (Serving Health Insurance Needs of Elders) program.  SHINE volunteers are both active and retired individuals from diverse career and cultural backgrounds.

As a volunteer, you will receive initial training, continuing education, and a supportive environment with dedicated colleagues. Training will be offered in January 2012.
