An Evening of Wine and Cheese
The Cigar Republic hosted its second complimentary wine and cheese tasting on Thursday July 21. Five wines ranging in body and flavor were presented at the event.
The Cigar Republic located on 155 107th Avenue on Treasure Island, hosted a complimentary wine and cheese tasting on Thursday July 21, starting at 7p.m. More than a dozen locals attended the event to sample the wines and chat about their favorites.
Kim O'Connor, a Republic National Distributing representative, poured the samples while explaining each blend, fullness, and flavoring of the wine.
Four blends of Hahn Wine from the California Monterey Coast were presented at the event: Hahn Winery Meritage, Hahn Winery Syrah, Hahn Winery Cabernet Sauvignon, and Hahn Winery Chardonnay, along with Moscato D'Asti Ricossa made in Italy. The wines were displayed in range from white light-bodied to red heavy-bodied.

The Cigar Republic plans to host complimentary tastings every few months. These tasting will vary from wines to chocolates to cigars.
