Beach Election Results In

St. Pete Beach and Treasure Island will both have a new commissioner coming in.

Election day results are in and there'll be some new faces for Treasure Island and St. Pete Beach, according to an article from Bay News 9.

In the St. Pete Beach vote, Lorraine Huhn beat out current District 1 commissioner.

In the Treasure Island vote, Gail Caldwell lost the District 2 commissioner seat to Irving S. Ellsworth, Jr.

In his first time running opposed, Indian Shores Mayor Jim Lawrence beat out his competitor John Ruscin.

Out of 62,000 registered voters, 19 percent of voters turned out for the elections Pinellas wide.
