Beach Escapes: The Southern Tip

Where is it:

At the very end of the Pass-A-Grille, there’s an small area with no beach but a bench that looks out across at the islands north of Fort DeSoto.

How to get there:

Just drive south on Pass A Grille Way until you reach the end and have to turn right on 1^st Avenue. Try to find a spot close to the intersection of 1^st Avenue and Gulf Way. On the corner, you’ll find the entrance and the bench looking over the water.

What to do there:

This area is away from much of the noise and bustle of the beach so it makes the perfect spot to relax and slow down for a bit. This is also a great place to check out as the sun is going down and it’s hitting the magic hour. This is the spot in Pass-A-Grille to unwind and forget your worries.

Why is this important:

It offers such a great place to sit down and relax and the view is like no other. You can’t get any further south in the Pinellas Beaches area without making a drive to Fort DeSoto.
