Beach Escapes: The Southern Tip

Check out the the water and relax at Pass-A-Grille's southernmost spot.

Where is it:

At the very end of the Pass-A-Grille, there’s an small area with no beach but a bench that looks out across at the islands north of Fort DeSoto.

Just drive south on Pass A Grille Way until you reach the end and have to turn right on 1st Avenue. Try to find a spot close to the intersection of 1st Avenue and Gulf Way. On the corner, you’ll find the entrance and the bench looking over the water.

This area is away from much of the noise and bustle of the beach so it makes the perfect spot to relax and slow down for a bit. This is also a great place to check out as the sun is going down and it’s hitting the magic hour. This is the spot in Pass-A-Grille to unwind and forget your worries.

Why is this important:

It offers such a great place to sit down and relax and the view is like no other. You can’t get any further south in the Pinellas Beaches area without making a drive to Fort DeSoto.
