On the Maderia Beach side of the bridge, you can find parking across the street from John's Pass. Remember to bring quarters for the meter! Once parked, You should be able to see the beach area leading directly to one of the beams underneath the bridge.

This is a great spot to hang out in the shade during a day of fun at the beach. It's also fun to watch all the boats that go towards John's Pass. Plus, it's awesome to see the drawbridge go up from underneath.

Why is this important:

It's an extremely shady spot by the water, which is crucial on hot, sunny days without a beach umbrella or canopy. Since it's also close to John's Pass, it's easy to go check it out after shopping or eating. It also gives a different perspective to something that most people just drive right by.
