Beach Escapes: Up on the Hill

Where is it:

Up on the northernmost hill in Sand Key Park.

How to get there:

After parking by the Sand Key Park's beach, walk back up the road you came in on. You'll see a path leading up to the hill with the bench on your lefthand side.

What to do there:

This area is fantastic for photography. From the vantage point on the hill, you can see much of Sand Key, as well as across the water to Clearwater. The bench also makes for a great spot to hang out after a date with your significant other.

Why is this important:

The view here is unlike any other on the beach. With the ability to see both the cityscape of Clearwater and the natural beauty of Sand Key, you'll be able to see the best of both rural and urban landscapes.
