Learn more about the landmarks that make the beaches special.

The Don Cesar Beach Resort and Spa on St. Pete Beach is a ten-story hotel built in the late 1920s. The enchanting historic resort welcomes visitors as they travel over the bridge toward St. Pete Beach.

The Don was named after Don Ce-Sar in Vincent Wallace's light opera Maritana. Built by Thomas Rowe, the architecture is a Mediterranean and Moorish blend. The castle has been featured in popular films, and housed presidents and other celebrities.
