Beach Snoballs Keeps it Fresh for Fall

With cooler weather coming up, Beach Snoballs is working at coming up with ways to keep customers craving their icy snacks.

School’s back in session and Autumn is fast approaching, but has some new additions to keep the customers coming back for their delicious frozen treats.

One of the biggest additions to Beach Snoballs’ lineup is the addition of the spiked snoball, a flavored snoball with up to three shots of tequila, vodka or rum.

The spiked snoballs have been around since mid-April, but the team at Beach Snoballs believes that the addition of alcohol will help bring in a more varied crowd.

“Now we’ve got something for the parents, so they can come and hang out on the beach and get a snoball,” said Morgan Wujkowski, co-owner of Beach Snoballs.

Spiking the snoballs has been something that the team at Beach Snoballs has wanted to get into action since they opened.

“It’s definitely going to have an extra kick, but no one is going to come here and try to get drunk off a snoball. You’ll definitely have a sugar problem before you have an alcohol problem,” Wujkowski said.

While any flavor of snoball can be spiked, there are staff recommendations, marked with a crab sticker on the menu, of what will go best with a shot of alcohol.

Each shot of alcohol on the snoball costs an additional $2.50.

In addition to having alcohol, Beach Snoballs is introducing some unique fall flavors, like carmel apple and spiced apple cider, to tantalize customers to come out.

“It still might be 80 degrees, but if it’s mid-October, you can have a pumpkin pie snoball,” Wujkowski said.

For those looking for an energy boost in their snoball, Beach Snoballs has also just introduced the Livewire snoball, a snoball flavored with Red Bull.

With school back in session, Beach Snoballs has rolled out a special deal for the kids getting out of school. Starting next week tentatively, every Monday through Friday 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., they’re offering a special $1 snoball with any flavor.

Beach Snoballs is also catering to birthdays now. People can set up to have the deck of Beach Snoballs blocked off for a period of time and kids will get to experience mixing and making their own snoball with the flavors available, Wujkowski said.

While the summer rush is gone, Beach Snoballs is keeping business up with original ideas and new promotions that look to keep the demand for the cold snack high.
