Beachside Band Battle
The marching bands of Florida International University and Marshall University played loud and proud on St. Pete Beach.
While many college football fans are gearing up for the big Beef 'O Brady Bowl game going on at the Tropicana later today, visitors to St. Pete Beach got a treat in the form of a musical throwdown between the two marching bands yesterday.
The marching bands from FIU and Marshall hit the sands behind the Tradewinds Island Grand for a showdown of musical prowess.
It wasn't just the bands showing off, either. Cheer squads and dancers from both colleges took turns performing.
