Bicyclist Struck, Killed While Walking Bike Across Seminole Blvd.

A 44-year-old man was killed while walking his bike across Seminole Boulevard Saturday.

SEMINOLE, FL — A 44-year-old man was killed while walking his bike across Seminole Boulevard Saturday.

According to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office, at 11:28 p.m. Nole Karcher was walking across the road at 5316 Seminole Blvd., when he was struck by a Mitsubishi Outlander driver by Brian Thomas, 46, of Kenneth City.

Karcher was not in a crosswalk at the time of the accident. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Deputies said Thomas showed signs of impairment and arrested and charged him with driving under the influence.
