Host An International Student for 2 - 4 Weeks This Summer!
What are you doing this summer?
Educational Homestay Programs, a non profit divistion of Education First, needs a few more families to host a Spanish teen or an adult chaperones this July 11 - 30, 2013. The students have been studying English in their schools and want to spend a few weeks in Florida this summer to improve their English skills and learn about our culture. They will also teach you about theirs!
If you can provide them a bed, 3 meals a day, transportation to a few weekly field trips and a stable caring enviroment you have what it takes to host! The students are 13 - 18 years old. They are all medically insured and bring their own spending money. Host families need to apply and pass a criminal back ground check. Once you are approved you will read student profiles and pick the student you would enjoy hosting based on your families hobbies and the gender and age you would enjoy hosting.
Host familes do not get paid for hosting a student. But if they have a child in high school their student will be awarded 45 community service hours toward Bright Futures. Your family will also earn travel benefits thru our tour division so your family can travel also. Maybe you can go to Spain and visit your exchange student.
