Child Pornography Charges Land Seminole Man In Jail

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children reported that child pornography was being uploaded using the social media app, Kik.

SEMINOLE, FL — A 27-year-old Seminole man has been arrested on child pornography charges after Pinellas County sheriff's detectives say they found multiple images on his cell phone and laptop computer of children being sexually exploited.

Detectives said they began investigating after receiving a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that child pornography was being uploaded in Seminole using the social media messenger application, Kik.

Detectives said they traced the account to Blake Schomp and obtained a search warrant for his home at 96241 21st St. N in Seminole where they found several images of child pornography on his cell phone and laptop computer.
