TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The Florida League of Cities, the united voice for Florida's municipal governments, announced those appointed to serve on the Florida League of Cities 2020-2021 legislative policy committee. The City of Pinellas Park appointees are as follows:

Mayor Sandra Bradbury - Municipal Administration Committee

Vice Mayor Rick Butler - Land Use and Economic Development Committee

Councilman Keith Sabiel Sr. - Utilities, Natural Resources and Public Works Committee

Bart Diebold, Public Works Administrator - Finance, Taxation & Personnel Policy Committee

Lana Beck, Communications and Government Relations Administrator, Land Use and Economic Development Committee

Legislative policy committee chairs, vice-chairs and members are appointed annually by the League's president. Florida League of Cities President Tony Ortiz, commissioner for the City of Orlando, made the appointments for this term.

Legislative policy committee member will help develop the League's Legislative Action Agenda, which details priority issues that are most likely to affect daily municipal governance and local decision-making during the upcoming legislative session, as well as help League staff understand the real-world implications of proposed legislation and are asked to serve as advocates throughout the legislative process.
