Concern Grows for Missing Pregnant Teen

Morgan Martin stepped out of her St. Pete house to talk with her boyfriend, and no one has seen her since, say family members.

Morgan Martin, 17 and pregnant, walked out of her home on the 2800 block of 17th Avenue South, wearing fluffy pink slippers and taking no money or handbag with her.

Her family says she never returned.

Missing since July 25, Morgan is considered endangered and in need of medical attention. Police want the public's help in finding her. Crime Stoppers is now offering $1,000 for information.

She was wearing a bright pink hooded jacket with fur around the collar, a white tank top, gray sweatpants and pink fuzzy slippers.

At 12:20 a.m., she left her home after getting a call on her cell phone, according to family members interviewed by police.

Police describe Martin as a white Hispanic female with black hair and brown eyes.

She is 5'2" tall, 175 pounds, with a scar on her chin and on the left side of her lip. She may be in need of medical attention and is considered endangered.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement has issued a statewide bulletin about the missing girl.

Leah Martin, Morgan's mother, told WTSP Channel 10, that she believes that Morgan's boyfriend is somehow linked to her disappearance. St. Pete Police told Channel that they have interviewed her boyfriend, but added that "there are other individuals" who need to be questioned.
