Motorcyclist From Clearwater Killed In Pinellas Park Crash
Pinellas Park police said a Clearwater man died Monday after his motorcycle crashed into an SUV at 49th Street North and 126th Avenue North.
PINELLAS PARK, FL — Pinellas Park police said a 36-year-old Clearwater man died Monday at 7:20 a.m. after his motorcycle crashed into an SUV at 49th Street North and 126th Avenue North.
When they arrived at the accident scene, officers and paramedics found motorcyclist Maxwell L. Jenkins dead.
The driver of the SUV, Maria Maldonado Hernandez, 44 of Pinellas Park, and the passengers, Yefrin Carias Umanzor, 42, and Jairo Villalobos, 35, also of Pinellas Park, received minor injuries.

Investigators determined that Jenkins was traveling south on 49th Street, approaching the intersection of 126th Avenue. At the same time, Hernandez was turning west onto 126th Avenue from 49th Street.
The motorcycle struck the SUV at the intersection, and Jenkins was thrown off.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
