Crash Kills 1, Leaves Another Critical, Damages Lady Of Good Hope Church In Pinellas Park
Pinellas Park police are searching for a hit-and-run driver involved in an accident that killed a woman and damaged a church.
PINELLAS PARK, FL — Pinellas Park police are searching for a hit-and-run driver involved in an accident that killed a woman, left a motorcyclist in critical condition and propelled a car into Our Lady of Good Hope church.
The crash occurred Thursday at 2:45 a.m. at 62nd Avenue North and 55th Street in Pinellas Park.
Police arrived and found the motorcyclist and a passenger with life-threatening injuries. Both were taken to the hospital where the passenger died.

The other vehicle involved was a red Camaro. It struck the church at 5501 62nd Ave., causing damage to the building. No one was inside at the time.

The Camaro then fled the scene before Pinellas Park police arrived.
