Should St. Pete Beach Get Rid of Its Police Department?

We want to hear your opinion on the possible dissolution of the St. Pete Beach Police and an idea to contract with the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office,

Next week,  

Currently, St. Pete Beach is on track for a $1.25 million budget gap next year, and the switch to contracting the sheriff's office would save $1.35 million.

The final decision will come down to a vote and the city commission is working on putting the issue on the next ballot.
