“It’s one of those things that you can either groom or you can’t,” Moyse said.
Although many of her clientele comes from the beaches and includes snowbirds who bring their pets down with them for the winter season, she also gets customers from the nearby communities of Largo and Seminole.

“People will drop their dog off here to get a do and they’ll go across the street to the beach or have lunch,” Moyse said.
Since taking over, Moyse has made Beach Groomers a one-stop shop for pet owners by stocking up with quality products to sell.
“We try to offer very high quality grooming and keep it affordable,” Moyse said.
While no licenses are needed to be a dog groomer, Moyse likes to attend multiple seminars to stay up to date on grooming trends.
“You need to stay up to date. The trends change so much in grooming,” Moyse said.
Beach Groomers is set up to be a luxurious experience for the dogs that visit. Even though crates are available, dogs are never forced to go into them. The animals are free to roam in the shop if they choose and play with a myriad of toys while at Beach Groomers.
No matter what the day brings, Moyse brings a positive atmosphere that radiates throughout the shop.
“You can’t have a bad day with dogs,” Moyse said.
Beach Groomers is open Tuesday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday 8:30 a.m. to 4p.m.
