DUI Wolf Pack Dedicated In Memory Of 17-Year-Old Seminole Student
Sophia Delott was killed by a drunk driver on June 28, 2019, while riding her bike on the Indian Rock Causeway bridge.

PINELLAS COUNTY — The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office and other Pinellas County law enforcement agencies will be out in force this weekend for a DUI Wolf Pack dedicated to the memory of 17-year-old Sophia Delott.
Delott was killed by a drunk driver on June 28, 2019, around 10:30 a.m. while riding her bike with both front and rear lights on in the bike lane of the Indian Rocks Causeway Bridge.
Delott was the only girl on the Seminole High School football team and had recently joined the Marines.

Her coach, Chris Miller, described her as a "selfless, humble, hard-working, dedicated young lady who was taken from us way too soon,” Miller said.
Joining Pinellas deputies in the DUI Wolf Pack will be the Florida Highway Patrol, Indian Shores Police Department, Kenneth City Police Department, Largo Police Department, Pinellas Park Police Department, St. Petersburg Police Department, Clearwater Police Department and the Tarpon Springs Police Department.

They will maintain a proactive profile over the holiday weekend on the highly traveled roadways of Pinellas County.
The operation will begin at 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 28, and will continue until 5 a.m. on Sunday, May 29.
The operation is part of the Pinellas County Sheriff's ongoing commitment to reduce deaths, injuries and property damage associated with traffic crashes related to impaired driving. The goal of the Wolf Pack is to educate people and create public awareness about the dangers of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and any chemical or controlled substances.
