The Heart of Pinellas Decorative Artists (HPDA) has over 110 members and is the local chapter of the international group, the Society of Decorative Painters.The club is currently meeting at Oak Ridge Wesleyan Church, 11000 110 Ave. North, Largo, FL on the second Saturday of the month. The group invites anyone interested in the decorative arts to join. All skill levels are welcome from the beginning to the advanced level. In addition to hosting painting workshops in all mediums and encouraging art education in the community, the group has participated in various philanthropic projects including painting and filling ditty bags for the homeless, painting treasure boxes for Shriner’s Hospital, Habitat for Humanity, and donating to local food pantries and the SPCA.
