The Pinellas County Extension is promoting a new gadget to help residents become more energy-conscious and eco-friendly. Available for checkout at Pinellas County libraries, the Kill-A-Watt™ Energy Monitor is a tool that can gauge how much energy household electronic devices use, whether they are on or off. Just plug the monitor into an outlet, plug an appliance into the monitor, follow the monitor’s instructions, and watch it work.
At this event, residents can learn more about how the monitors work, as well as tips to make their homes more energy-efficient.
Registration for this presentation is required. To register, visit the Web site below, or stop by the library.
