Update: Fatal Crash Closes Portion of Gulf Boulevard
Deputies are looking for a pizza delivery truck in connection with the crash that killed a Clermont woman.

The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal crash on Gulf Boulevard in Madeira beach that left one woman dead and has sparked a search for the driver responsible.
The accident occurred around 1:42 a.m. Friday when Emma Keown, 20, of Clermont was riding a skateboard. She was hit by a truck as she was headed north on Gulf Boulevard, the sheriff’s office said. The driver of the truck stopped and then continued north on Gulf Boulevard.
The Keown was taken to a local hospital where she later died.

Deputies are now looking for the truck’s driver. The truck is described as being a black pickup, possibly a Dodge Ram or Dakota. There was a lit pizza delivery sign on the top at the time of the crash, deputies say. The driver is described as being a white male in his late 20s with dark, bushy hair.
Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff’s office.

The accident closed Gulf Boulevard in both directions for several hours.
