Fire Destroys Pinellas Park Mobile Home; Cat Missing
A man and woman were safely evacuated from the two-alarm fire, but they were unable to find their pet cat.

PINELLAS PARK, FL — Pinellas Park and Largo firefighters were called to a two-alarm fire that destroyed a home at the Sun Seair Mobile Home Park early Thursday morning.
Five fire crews from Pinellas Park and seven crews from Largo responded to the fire at 6:22 a.m. at the mobile home park at 6372 126th Ave. N., according to the Pinellas Park Fire Department.
The two residents had evacuated prior to firefighters arriving, but were unable to find their pet cat.

Firefighters used an offensive attack to douse the fire in about 20 minutes.
The mobile home was completely destroyed, and a vehicle under the home's carport sustained damage.

The American Red Cross was called out to assist the residents.
Pinellas Park's fire inspector said the fire started in the kitchen, but is still investigating the cause.
