PINELLAS PARK, FL-- After her home caught fire, a Pinellas Park woman refused to be taken to the hospital unless her two chihuahuas could accompany her.
Pinellas Park and Largo fire rescue crews were called to a fire at a home on 87th Terrace Friday, May 11 at around 5 a.m.
The three people in the house suffered from smoke inhalation and had to be taken to the hospital by ambulance. But one of the residents refused to go unless her dogs could accompany her. Paramedics finally relented and loaded the little dogs onto the stretcher with her.
