1) Patch has a guest editor. This week, guest editor is filling in for , who is taking a well-deserved vacation. So… if there is something interesting you want Patch to cover this week, give Phil a shout.

2) The is hosting their annual game and card party luncheon to serve All Children's Hospital. For only $15, you can enjoy games, cards and lunch, along with jewelry and wine-basket sales. The event is located at the Madeira Beach Elks Club, . The fun begins at 11:00 a.m.

3) Egg Haunt. Do you need another reason to love Florida beaches? Here's one…where else can you have a poolside Halloween egg hunt? Yes, the air may be getting a little cooler, and there is a sense of the Halloween spirit. Check out the "spooktacular" time kids had Saturday morning as they collected a bounty of Halloween eggs in the St. Pete Beach Pool.
