Find out what you may have missed this week on Patch.

: Ah, the sweet smell of grilled steak. The taste of a finely-butchered cut of meat nestled under a troop of button mushrooms glazed with red wine. : The city's Nuisance Abatement Board voted unanimously Tuesday to fine and shut down a 34th Street motel that is plagued with complaints of illegal drug use, prostitution and lawlessness. In eight hours of testimony, police and neighbors alleged that illegal activities are common at the Economy Inn motel, at 451 34th St. North.
: From teachers to firefighters, self-described middle class voters turned out in force Tuesday night in St. Petersburg and 14 other locations in Florida to send a message to Gov. Rick Scott and lawmakers: Stop slashing the budget and start rebuilding infrastructure to create jobs and bolster the economy.
