Five Things We Learned on Patch this Week
Find out what you may have missed on Patch this week.

: There are conventions for everything. Whether it be a business or a sci-fi convention, people like to meet up and talk about their common interests. Why should being a professional poop scooper be any different?
: Marcus Lemacks was found checked into Largo Medical Center after being reported missing and endangered by his daughter. Lemacks was reported missing by his daughter after several hours passed and he didn't return home from a trip to the bank.
: I have been working since age 11. An entrepreneur from the start, I got my strong work ethic from my father. I wasn’t going to make anything of myself just sitting at home. Starting out as a babysitter for my neighbor, I landed a regular gig every Saturday night earning me $20 cash. I thought I was loaded and it was the easiest money ever. When I turned 14, I pushed my parents to allow me to get a “real” job.

: Florida isn't known for having the most vivid changes in seasons. Most of Florida has gotten accustomed to two seasons. Hot and hotter. While most of the leaves don't fall in Autumn in Florida (unless you count palm leaves falling because of high winds), there are some hidden areas in Florida that act curiously like other states.
: Pet owners brought their faithful companions Saturday to the annual Blessing of the Animals at St. Alban's Episcopal Church. A blessing of each animal (or its picture) followed prayers and songs celebrating and being thankful for the pets.
