Get a Head Start on Oktoberfest in Redington Beach

It's not October, but it's time to get ready for Oktoberfest in Redington Beach.

Oktoberfest in Redington Beach is being held at the corner of Gulf Boulevard and 164th Avenue E. at Redington Beach Town Park from 6 p.m to 10 p.m. this Saturday.

While you don't need to break out any lederhosen, be prepared to enjoy some good German fun. 

There'll be traditional German foods, like sausages and Zwiebelkuchen, a classic German onion cake.

While you're filling up, there's also going to be music playing throughout the event.

No Oktoberfest would be complete without beer, so make sure to take precautions and get a designated driver if necessary.

The event costs $30 at the door and will help benefit Santa's Angels, a group that raises money throughout the year, so less fortunate families can have a better holiday.
