Guy Harvey's Brand Coming to Tradewinds

Marine artist Guy Harvey will be bringing his art and style to the Tradewinds Sandpiper Suites.

Fans of Guy Harvey's marine life art should keep an eye on the Tradewinds Sandpiper.

A partnership to remodel the current Tradewinds Sandpiper into the Guy Harvey Outpost was announced last Thursday at the Miami International Boat Show, according to an article on Tampabay.com

The remodel will be called the Guy Harvey Outpost and is scheduled to open in 2013.

Guy Harvey is a Jamaican-born painter with a strong local following. He's most well known for his paintings of wildlife.

The $3 million renovation to the resort will begin this week and will involve incorporating Guy Harvey art throughout the exterior public rooms of the hotel. All rooms will include Guy Harvey decorations, and will get new carpeting, televisions and paint.

The hotel gift shop will also be receiving an overhaul with Guy Harvey-label merchandise and clothing.

The hotel will continue to be owned and operated by Tradewinds and will share property rights with the Tradewinds Island Grand.
