How long have you been volunteering?

"Off and on for four years at the Tampa Bay Beaches Chamber of Commerce and five years at the Pass-A-Grille Historical Museum."

What encouraged/inspired you to start volunteering?

I started volunteering when I lived in Miami. I just give back so much when volunteering and that's my reward."

What do you like about volunteering?  

"The people. I'm a people person!"

How often do you volunteer?

"A couple of hours a week at different locations."

What keeps you interested in volunteering?

"People who come in here have a lot to contribute in our conversations. People from all over the world come into the Chamber of Commerce so you pick up a lot of interesting conversations."

What do you like about the beaches?

"You get to meet people from all over the world and you can get different input on things. I think that's very interesting."

How can the public help out?

"You can talk to other people about our location and you can volunteer as well. There are lots of areas all over looking for volunteers."
