What do you like about volunteering? This assignment gives me an opportunity to serve the community and advance causes that fuel my passion. I also have the opportunity to learn from other Pinellas County Historical Societies I work with, like Largo and Dunedin.
How often do you volunteer? The Board meets once a month, as President I delegate, pass responsibilities around to an enlightened crew of volunteers. Our Society is fortunate to have funding from the community and to have Indian Rocks Beach Mayor R.B. Johnson and Commissioner Terry Hamilton-Wollin serving on the Board.
What keeps you interested? As a history buff and author of eight books documenting the history of our area I feel I am continuing to make and refine our history.
How can the public help? If one has artifacts or stories about this area, come forth and further its history or serve as a volunteer.
