Hurricane Dorian: Pinellas Park Cancellations
The City of Pinellas Park City Council Workshop scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 3 at 5:30 p.m. has been canceled due to potential impacts.

PINELLAS PARK, FL — The City of Pinellas Park City Council Workshop scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 3 at 5:30 p.m. has been canceled due to potential impacts from Hurricane Dorian.
The city has also canceled a planning and zoning meeting scheduled for Tuesday at 7 p.m.
According to Waste Management, routine collection operations will continue on Monday, Sept. 2. However, collection operations after Monday could be impacted through Wednesday, Sept. 4, as post-storm conditions may prohibit safe operations due to flooding, road blockages, downed trees, power lines and inoperable traffic signals.

Before and after a major storm or hurricane, Waste Management will provide regular service updates through its website.
City offices, recreation centers, brush site and the library will be closed Sept. 2 in observance of Labor Day. Due to Hurricane Dorian. all city facilities may remain closed until further notice.
