Indian Rocks Beach Credit Card Thief Sought by Detectives

Detectives are looking for a man accused of stealing credit cards during a car break-in in Indian Rocks Beach and a home burglary in Dunedin, then using them to make purchases around the Tampa Bay area.

The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office has security camera footage of the unidentified man whom they say was responsible for both crimes on the same day back on Feb. 19. The credit cards were then used at several locations in Pinellas and Hillsborough counties.

The car-break in occurred in the 300 block of 12th Avenue on Indian Rocks Beach. The home burglary happened in the 2600 block of Bellhurst Drive, the sheriff's office said. 

The suspect is described as a white male in his early 20s, about 5-foot-10 and 200 pounds. He was seen driving a newer model Nissan 350Z convertible that is silver or grey in color, authorities said.
