Indian Rocks Beach Historical Museum Expansion Approved
The museum will be gaining an additional 1,000 feet, nearly doubling in size.

According to an article from the Belleair Bee, the Indian Rocks Beach Historical Museum is going to nearly double in size.
The Indian Rocks Beach City Commission awarded $237,550 for the expansion, according to the Belleair Bee.
Previously, the museum has had to turn away potential exhibits due to a lack of space, according to the Belleair Bee. With the expansion of 1,000 feet, the museum will be able hold nearly twice as many exhibits.

Tenative plans will have the museum closed during the month of September to start work on the space additions and raising the original museum to FEMA requirements of elevation.
