Indian Rocks Beach Views City Hall Plans

The plans for the new Indian Rocks Beach City Hall were shown off this week.

Indian Rocks Beach has been planning to give a makeover to their city hall, and city commissioners got their first glimpse at the plans this week.

Holmes Architechture showcased their proposed design for the redone Indian Rocks Beach City this past Tuesday at the city commission meeting, according to an article from the Belleair Bee.

City officials had been worried that the old city hall would let in rain due to the cracks in the building and start to grow mold.

The new design completely redoes the front of the building and also expands of useable space.

The public works department would be moved to give extra storage space and an additional 400 square feet for the library.

The new front, which is phase 1, will cost the city $96,400. The expansion, which is phase 2, will cost the city $166,080. The third phase, which consisted of interior renovation, will cost $60,960.

City officials have given the go-ahead on the project with Holmes providing further refinement on the plan.
