PINELLAS PARK, FL — Pinellas Park Police are searching for the person who threw kittens out of a moving vehicle in the area of 82nd Avenue and 66th Street Monday.

Police responded to the area at 12:53 p.m. after receiving a complaint that someone was tossing kittens from a car window. Police only located one kitten dead in the road. They aren't sure how many kittens were tossed onto the road but hope the other kittens made it to safety.

This is being investigated as an aggravated animal cruelty case. Any witnesses are asked to call police at 727-369-7864.
