Kohr Frozen Custard Manager Charged With Molesting Employees

MADEIRA BEACH, FL -- Pinellas County Sheriff's detectives have charged the manager of the Kohr Family Frozen Custard with inappropriate sexual contact with four teenage girls.

According to the sheriff's office, Leonardo Arellano Ramo, 62, of St. Petersburg was charged with two counts of lewd and lascivious molestation and two counts of simple battery on three girls who were 14, 15 and 17 years old at the time of the incidents.

The sheriff's office said the incidents occurred between April 7 and July 20 at Kohr Family Frozen Custard at 12831 Village Boulevard, Madeira Beach.

According to detectives, one of the victims reported to deputies she was the victim of inappropriate sexual contact on July 28. The victim later told detectives that Ramos, who was her manager at Kohr Family Frozen Custard, had grabbed her buttocks and breasts on the outside of her clothing on multiple occasions.

Detectives interviewed three teen employees, ages 14, 15 and 17, who reported similar repeated criminal acts committed by Ramos including Ramos grabbing the victims' buttocks, placing his hands under the victims' shirts and on the victims' bras and breasts.

Detectives say one victim reported that Ramos kissed her neck and sucked her ear, and refused to let her go.

On Nov. 19, detectives interviewed Ramos at the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office at 10750 Ulmerton Road in Largo where Ramos admitted to "patting the victims' buttocks."

Ramos was transported to the Pinellas County Jail without incident.
