Largo Motorcyclist Killed In Accident On Belcher Road

PINELLAS PARK, FL — A 60-year-old motorcyclist has died following an accident Saturday in Pinellas Park.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, at 7:16 p.m. a car driven by a 61-year-old St. Petersburg man was heading east on 114th Avenue North while a 60-year-old Largo resident was riding a motorcycle south on Belcher Road.

At the intersection, the car turned south into the path of the motorcycle. The motorcyclist struck the rear of the car and was thrown from the bike. He was transported to an area hospital where he died from his injuries.
