Madeira Beach Government has a Surplus

Madeira Beach government has an issue that most everyone would like face.

Currently, Madeira Beach has an overage of money that they're debating on what to do with, according to Tampabay.com.

According the article, they have $14,047,494 in total, which includes the money that will be used for day-to-day operations.

City policy is to keep at least 33 percent of surplus in case of emergency.

The city is considering rebuilding the city hall, fire station and public works building. 

On June 29, The city's administrative team plans to present the commission with a budget for the 2012-2013 fiscal year.
