Man Accused Of Killing Pinellas Park Resident Arrested In Miami
A 33-year-old St. Petersburg man was arrested in Miami where police said he fled after taking part in a homicide.

PINELLAS PARK, FL — A 33-year-old St. Petersburg man was arrested Tuesday in Miami where police said he fled after taking part in a homicide in Pinellas Park.
According to Pinellas Park detectives, police were called to the Cortland Gateway apartments at 9505 49th St. N. around 1 a.m. Friday for a possible homicide but were unable to locate the resident of the apartment, 31-year-old Dravode McDade.
At around the same time, St. Petersburg police notified Pinellas Park police that they'd found McDade's body in St. Petersburg.

An investigation led police to Rodney Sales who'd fled to Miami. Police issued a warrant for his arrest on first-degree murder charges, and Miami police arrested him.
He will be extradited to Pinellas County.
