Man Arrested for Molestation of a Minor

A 44-years-old suspect was Wednesday and charged with sexual battery on a minor in St. Pete Beach, according to an article on ABC Action News.

Guillermo Trejos is accused of performing sexual acts on the victim. Police say that the child was asleep on the beach at the time of the incident.

Trejos knew the victim prior to the crime, police said.

Trejos was arrested during an undercover sting operation that started on Dec. 5. 

During the operation, authorites learned that Trejos had attended the beach to take pictures of minors skimboarding and surfing to upload to his personal website.

Trejos admitted to performing the sexual acts during the sting operation. 

Trejos is being charged with one count of sexual battery on a minor and his bond is currently at $10,000.
