Missing Paddleboarder Traced to Fort DeSoto
Jeffrey Comer, who went missing on Saturday, went to the Fort DeSoto area before he disappeared.

Jeffrey Comer, 50 years old, went over to the Fort DeSoto beach area before he went missing,according to an article from WTSP.com.
Comer was last seen on Saturday in Tampa by a friend as he was loading up his paddleboard on his vehicle.
Comer's board was found by the Coast Guard near the entrance to the Manatee River, between Bradenton and Anna Maria Island.

Along with his board, the Coast Guard recovered his keys, wallet and cell phone on the board. His car was found parked at Mullet Key in the Fort DeSoto park.
The Coast Guard and other Florida agencies are continuing the search for Comer, who was considered a athletic and experienced paddleboarder.
