More Music on Madeira Beach

The Madeira Beach City Commission voted to extend the outdoor music hours.

If you like listening to music on the beach, Madeira Beach is looking to accomodate you.

The Madeira Beach City Commission voted to extend the hours that amplified and live music can be played on the weekends, according to an article from the Beach Beacon.

The idea was proposed by Commissioner Terry Lister and will extend the hours a business can play live or amplified music from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

Lister brought up the point of the many new businesses in Madeira Beach and this ease on regulations could help them get a great start.

The new limit doesn't apply to individuals, who will need to get a party permit for outdoor amplified music.
