Naked Man In Truck On Gandy Beach Charged With DUI

PINELLAS COUNTY, FL — A 56-year-old Brandon man has been charged with driving under the influence after a Pinellas County Sheriff's deputy responded to a report of a naked man and unconscious woman in a truck on Gandy Beach.

According to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office, a deputy approached Michael Edward Wallace's truck on Gandy Beach Saturday at 11:50 p.m. and found Wallace naked in the driver's seat with the truck running.

The deputy said Wallace showed signs of being impaired while behind the wheel of a running vehicle, including a strong smell of alcohol on his breath and bloodshot, watery eyes.

The deputy said Wallace also performed poorly on a field sobriety test.
