New Madeira Beach City Manager May be Chosen Today
The City Comission is meeting at 4 p.m. to interview three candidates.

The Madeira Beach City Commission is meeting today at 4 p.m. to perform interviews and possibly hire a new city manager.
The city manager position has been filled since Feburary in an interim basis by Bill Mallory, Madeira Beach's fire chief.
Three candidates, Kenneth Hurst Peter Lombardi and James Sundermeier are vying for the position. The fourth candidate scheduled to interview, James Gleason, withdrew on July 19.

Starting at 4 p.m., each candidate will be given 15 minutes to make introductions, according to the meeting agenda. Afterwards, the Board of Commissioners will question all the candidates. The last 15 minutes of the meeting are being left open for questions from the public.
At 6 p.m., the Board will discuss and have the final panel interviews of the candidates.

at 7 p.m., a vote will be put out to consider the appointment of any of the candidates to the city manager position.
