Nine Drivers Arrested at DUI Checkpoint
The Madeira Beach DUI checkpoint set up on Friday has netted 16 citations and nine arrests.

The police set up a on Madeira Beach and has met success, according to an article on Tampbay.com.
The checkpoint in Madeira Beach found nine drivers who were arrested for various charges. Six were arrested for driving under the influence, one for driving with a suspended license, one for a misdemeanor possession of marijuana and one for driving without a valid license.
In addition, the police handed out 16 citations to drivers heading through the checkpoint.

The police assessed 227 of the 900 drivers who passed throught the DUI checkpoint.
