Only on the Beach: Lava Chimes

Within the walls of in John's Pass are some of prettiest wind chimes around. One of the most unique pieces available in the store is the obsidian needle chimes.

Each chime is made from obsidian that is hand dug from the foothills of California. Obsidian shards are created from lava that has cooled very quickly to create a black, mirror-like surface.

The volcanic shards of obsidian are then hung from a Florida fossil to complete the chime.

The obsidian needle chimes range in price based on design and size. Smaller chimes can cost as little as $32.99, and larger ones can cost up to $260.
