Only on the Beach: Mirror of Shells

The on Corey Avenue in St. Pete Beach only does shells, and lots of them.

Unlike other stores on the beach that will carry a variety of items and a few shells, the Shell Store is committed to selling only shells.

One of the more unique items at the Shell Store are the mirrors made out of shells. The frames for the mirrors are made by Ken Lipe and then decorated with shells of all kinds by the whole Lipe family.

The mirrors themselves come in an array of colors and styles and range in price based on the type of shells used and the size of the mirror. If you’re feeling creative, you can even talk to Robert Lipe of the Shell Store on creating your own personalized mirror. You can even learn how to make your own with Robert's book that he sells in the store.
